Nepal Accessibility School on IG & Digital Rights

Empowering Inclusive Digital Leadership

A three-days workshop organized jointly with Internet Society Accessibility Standing Group, aimed at empowering individuals with disabilities to become global leaders in advocating for digital rights and fostering an inclusive Internet governance landscape in Nepal and beyond.

Objectives

Empower individuals with disabilities to advocate for digital rights and influence internet governance policies.

Foster leadership in internet governance (Develop leadership capabilities among participants to take on active roles in internet governance.)

Increase knowledge of accessibility, privacy, cybersecurity, and policy influence.

Fellowship Selection

Participants

15 fellows will be selected from across Nepal through an open call for applications.

Inclusivity Measures

  • The selection process will ensure gender parity among fellows, maintaining a balanced representation across all stakeholder groups.
  • To promote geographical diversity, one fellow from each province will be prioritized.
